I was here as a puppy and have come back due to life, the economy, and a job transfer.  My name was Denza and I was part of the Starsky and Hutch litter, Sana is my momma.  I am a slight but firey and dominant gal, about a year and a half old.  My mom is some kind of setter and border collie x and who knows what my dad is.  I am house trained, I can do the basics in life, sit, high five, that kind of thing. I have recently discovered that I LOVE to swim, especially if toys or boys are in the water!  I am higher on the energy scale, listen very well and love to fetch, play and cuddle!

Hello, this is shotzy I got my name from being shot sadly many times. One bullet 

went in my shoulder and blew apart the very tip of my shoulder blade ( I can still walk

so its OKAY) the other bullet traveled along my spine without hitting anything

 and got lodged behind my skull.  I also have buck shot all up my

left front leg.  I showed up on a very kind ladies doorstep and laid down in obvious

pain.  She took the time to find me find PARS who came to the rescue. they loaded me up

along with my sister Tailer who never left my side during the whole ordeal.  PARS took

me to the vet where Dr. Kim performed surgery to remove the bullet and bone

fragments.  She said I was a very Lucky boy.  I will be all done my meds soon,

I am a 1 year old male, that loves, people other dogs, and even cats.

Well, PARS almost went a whole 3 weeks without out a large irish wolf hound

terrier type dog in the group, thank goodness I happened by homeless just when I did.

I am a 10 month old, female, Irish wolf hound cross, I am a gentle giant, I am large

girl but calm and genlte. I love other dogs, and kids, I am practising my manners

I am great with cats, what more could you ask for.

I am Charlie I am a big but gentle boy, I love to just hang out and follow you around,

I have excellent recall, I like other dogs, and kids, my manners are truly unmatched

within the PARS pack, my foster mom said if only I could teach the others I would have

a full time job.  But since those other varmits won't listen to me I am still looking for the

perfect spot on someones deck to help hold it down, or couch that needs an extra

furry pillow placed upon it. I am a 2 year old male Husky Shepherd cross.

Josie girl here, 1.5 year old Golden Retriever cross, I am an excellent girl, I have

great manners, I am calm, and gentle, I recently got returned for being an expert

porcupine hunter. Unfortunatley the end result in a porcupine hunt is a massive vet

billl at least in all my encounters.  They are a clever bunch those

porci's but I just can't quit no matter how much it hurts.  So my owners thought I

was better off in a fenced area..  I love kids and other dogs.

I am  7 year old, house trained, male, Shihtzu, I love cuddles, I am great with cats and dogs, I love truck rides and quad rides.  I am friendly, hmmm... there is something I am forgetting to tell you.... what is it..... "oh yeah, I am totally blind" you would really never know other than when I bump into things. 

The vet says I was born without sight. So having never had it I really don't miss it.  I am a total couch potato, or truck ride potato.  I would do great in a house that doesn't leave stuff all over the floor, and can remember to talk to me before they pet me or pick me up.  And preferably a house that doesn't have a cat that likes to sneak up on me (which is easy to do) and slap me for fun... That just seems plain mean spirited, but hey what can you expect from a cat.

My name is Georgey, Georgey Porgey I am such a sad little man, I am about 8 months old but you wouldn't know it, it looks like I have starved my entire life and been treated horribly.  I want to cuddle you so much but I am very scared, when my foster mom finally picks me up I just bury my head in her neck and snuggle for hours.  I am gentle and prefer to never be in trouble, so I am pretty much the best dog ever.  although these pictures are deceiving I am only a small fella, 15lbs full grown but I do need to fill out, I will maybe be 20lbs or so.

It seems the season for PARS to get a lot of cutie hairy faces in need of some extreme grooming!  Baby is 9 month old  Maltese X Shih Tzu pup who is absolutely adorable.  Her foster mom loves her little hairy face and thought it would be important that everyone else see her cute little mug before the buzz cut.  Grooming is important for the breeds with growing hair and a regular brushing will provide an opportunity to spend quality time with your pet.  Baby is good with kids, cats, hamsters, and just about everything.  Who could ask for more?

Well.. seems it is the season for PARS to have little cute faces that needs extreme grooming to make them comfy again.  Baby needed some grooming to relieve deep matts but her foster mom thought it was a shame to miss that funky hairy face before all the hair came off.  Baby is a sweet little 9 mth old female Maltese X Shih Tzu.  She get along great with cats, hamsters, other dogs, kids.. well .. just about everything!  Need we say more?

You probably don't recognize me but I have been here before when I was just a wee little pup named Dentyne!  Boy have I grown!  I am back at PARS through no fault of my own.  My family's circumstances changed and they sadly had to give me up.  I am just a light weight with soft velvety fur that makes me look bigger!  I love love love those cats, great sorts those.  I also love kids, and other dogs and flowers and the sky and that thing over there.  I have lots of energy, am house-trained and crate-trained.  My foster mom says I am just a laugh a minute whatever that means.  10 mths old, male, Bearded Collie X, may have a sheepdog or Wheaton or something else hairy in there too.

Jay Cee, what a cute name for a cute guy, I am a 4 month old, male, Lab cross. I came to PARS and shortly after I arrived I developed the deadly parvo virus, my story ends happier than many pups with parvo I recovered and am raring to go. I will be medium to large when full grown and I plan on being happy and well rounded. If you can help me reach my goals, give us a call.

Back A Fighter!

I was found with a badly broken and infected leg,it seems I was placed in the back of a pick up and fell out somewhere along the way. I was lucky to live and by some miracle made my way to a farm and they found me, by the time I made it there my wounds were already infected and my leg had to be removed. I am such a sweet young girl, and I love to live in the kitty room, and play with the kittens. I am gentle and quiet and can't wait to find my fur ever home. female 10 weeks old, lab cross.

I am being fostered in Edmonton. I live with 3 other dogs and 2 cats.  I go to the off leash park every day to run and play and to burn off some energy (which I have a lot of!) but I never stray away from my pack.  When it comes to living indoors, I am GREAT! Kodi girl here, I am two year old female, my foster mom says she can't remember when she has met a sweeter dog. Memphis here, a 7-month-old male, Shepherd cross I'm  fun and ready to go, that about sums me up.  I love all other dogs and I am great with kids and cats as well.  What more can you ask for?  I am sweet, good-natured, and very easy-going except when we start to play, then I'm all about the race-car-wrestling (this means to run very very fast then jump on one another).  This game requires a lot of skill and I am the best at it.  I am not a very big boy, medium-sized or so.

My name is Rose, I came to PARS in horrible condition, everyone said I was one of the worst cases of starvation they had ever seen.  I literally had every rib and bone sticking out, and sadly I even showed signs of recently giving birth.  Although my pups were never found, the vet said I would not have survived much longer myself.  But with a little food and love, I am now in beautiful shape, I have no health issues from my past life. I am a three year old female, likely doberman cross.  I am great with kids, cats, and dogs, I am house trained, and love everyone.  I am less than knee high and short haired.

Crispy is the best cat and officially responsible for saving Aeda's life.  Crispy had a hard story of her own, she was tossed from a car and the landing resulted in a fractured skull causing acute blindness.  Thankfully and miraculously after the swelling decreased and the fracture healed, Crispy regained full sight in both eyes and now spends her days caring for the other special critters at PARS. Crispy is friend to all dogs and cats alike. She loves children and has fantastic house manners.

I'm Stu, a 1-year-old, male Collie-cross.  My foster mom says "Stu you're a good little Dude". I am only knee high but I'm friendly.  I love other dogs, however, I am a little shy around new people but I do warm up quickly. I am good with cats and I love kids.

I am a larger girl and like my space. The whole fence thing, we'd probably need to discuss before anyone adopts me - perhaps fenceless would be the best way to go.  I do stay close to home.

I got the name because everyone says I look just like the ice cream and I am just as sweet.  I'm Cookies 'n' Cream, an 11-month-old female Border-Collie Cross.  I love being with kids and people.  I am great with other dogs and cats.  I am just about perfect.  Although you can't really tell in this picture, I am missing my left ear (that's how I arrived here at PARS) but it doesn't seem to slow me down.  I am just as friendly and happy as anyone could imagine.
